Venita McLemore Director of Operations Venita McLemore earned one year towards an MFA in Dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, CO and received a BA in Biology and BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Columbia College. Venita has performed with Eboni Dance Theatre, Columbia City Ballet, and Harambee Dance troupe in NYC: Musing Hughes with The Classical Theatre of Harlem, "Broadway Bares 05/06", "The Rockae" and "Lucky Stiff" (AEA workshop-choreographer). Regional: "Grease", "Hair", "West Side Story", & "The Music Man". Donielle EJ Janora received a BFA in Dance Performance from the University at Buffalo, NY. She was a closing member of the national tours, "The Will Rogers Follies" and "Footloose" as the Dance Swing and Ensemble Member. Internationally, she has traveled the seas on Norwegian Cruise Lines for Jean Ann Ryan Productions. Donielle has also been the Dance Captain for several regional/summer stock productions including "Grease" (ChaCha) and "Pippin". Her Film/TV credits include: PBS Special—the Capitol 4th (tapping beside Jason Alexander), "My Super Ex-Girlfriend", "Law and Order" and "The Chappelle Show". During breaks from her gypsy lifestyle, Donielle has danced in several festivals and companies in and around NY. Currently, she is a dancer/hair model for L’Oreal Professionnel, a backup dancer for recording artist Fredrick Ford and a dance educator/choreographer in New York City.
extension 102djanora@danzemergencee.com Elizabeth Douglas Director of Ballet + Modern Elizabeth Douglas received a Masters degree in Dance and Dance Education from New York University and a BA in Dance from University at Buffalo, NY. In addition to these degrees, she holds certifications in Dance K-12, Labanotation, and Somatics. Elizabeth has been affiliated with several children's and adult dance programs, arts outreach, and dance theater organizations in the New York City area. Elizabeth continues to perform as a member of several companies in New York and choreographs. Her repertory experience includes the work of noted choreographers, Douglas Dunn and Alwin Nikolais. Kirsten Kenny Director of Tap + Fitness Coordinator Kirsten Kenny is a seasoned dancer, instructor, choreographer and writer. Kirsten received degrees in Dance and Psychology from Denison University, Granville, OH. While in college Kirsten developed and directed Denison's Creative Movement Program and founded the Denison Tap Workshop. She has been featured in many stage performances, television commercials, and programs. In summer 2007, Kirsten performed her choreography in Tap Happens, in New York City’s "Summer on the Hudson" series. She appeared on ABC's One Life to Live andThe View, a dancer with Fergie, Nelly Furtado & Timbaland, Michelle Branch, and Ashlee Simpson. Her choreography was showcased in the DRA Capezio Stars of Tomorrow, American Tap Dance Foundation Benefit, Tap City Spectacular, the International Dance of Colors, and Tap New York. Kirsten's training is extensive in rhythm tap, jazz, ballet, flamenco, Afro-Cuban, and Irish dancing. She also judges for top national dance competitions. Janet Parker Director of Fitness Janet Parker holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Kent State University, OH and after graduation Janet moved to NY to pursue a performance career. Janet's stage performances include productions of "Cats", "Chicago", "Grease", "Cabaret", and "Sweet Charity".Janet became certified in personal training and group fitness by AMFPT in 2001. Then went on to create and develop "Stretch and Tone" group fitness classes exclusively for the Gold's Gym franchise. Kristine Petrucione Director of Fitness Kristine Petrucione started her dance training in South Florida at the age of 5 and moved to Los Angeles after graduation to attend and complete the prestigious Joe Tremaine Scholarship Program. Training with Doug Caldwell, Michael Rooney, Wes Veldink and Jerry Evans, stage performances across the country; including the VMA's, and shows in Korea and Italy. Video/commercial credits include: Bjork and Fatboy Slim. Kristine produced, directed, and choreographed her first full length show "Velvet V(odd)ville" in 2006 in New York.Kristine is currently director and choreographer of the Chi-Cione's, a burlesque performing company making appearances all over NYC. Kristine Pilates training began in LA her mentor, Adyllia Roman. Kristine also trained with Rachel Carson of TV's "Living with Ed", and Fran Lehan, protegee of Corolla Trier. Kristine has worked proficiently with all fitness levels, pregnancy, injuries and illness.
